Wedding Planner in Valencia, Spain
Planning a wedding in Spain while you live in another country is a big leap of trust. The contracts arrive in Spanish, the venue exists only in photos, and you can't exactly fly over every time a question comes up. Many couples start organizing everything themselves and quickly feel stuck. What actually solves it is having your own eyes and ears here on the ground: someone in Valencia who visits the fincas, meets the vendors and checks every detail before you book a single flight. That's what I do for my couples, in English, Spanish or Ukrainian, with a reply as soon as possible.
Meet Olga Prudko
Your Wedding Planner in Valencia
I'm Olga Prudko, a wedding planner in Valencia with more than 15 years in events. I moved here from Ukraine, and today Valencia is MY home: I live here with my family and raise my daughters in this city. So I know first-hand how it feels to figure things out in a new country, and I understand exactly what worries couples planning a wedding in Spain from abroad.
The paperwork in a language you don't speak, the finca you've only seen on Instagram, the vendors you can't look in the eye before paying. My job is to take that weight off you. I check everything myself, on the ground, and I tell you honestly what's worth your money and what isn't.
Wedding Planning Services in Valencia
Every couple comes to me at a different stage. Some want me to handle the whole wedding from the first idea to the wedding cake. Some have already booked a venue and need help with vendors and logistics. And some just want to elope, the two of them, somewhere beautiful on the coast. Wedding planning starts from €1,000, and the first consultation is free. Tell me where you are in the process and we'll figure out the rest together.

Why Get Married in Valencia
If you're still choosing between Spain, Italy or Portugal, here's my honest take as someone who plans weddings here and lives here with her family.

300 Days of Sun
Valencia is one of the sunniest cities in Europe. You can plan an outdoor wedding here from April to late October with very little weather risk. If you picture golden evening light and dinner under the open sky, this is your place.

historic fincas
The heart of a Valencia wedding is the finca: historic country estates set among orange groves and gardens. Private, beautiful and built for a real celebration, these are the settings couples picture when they imagine marrying in Spain, and where nearly every wedding here actually takes place.

A Real Budget
A wedding in Valencia usually costs noticeably less than the same wedding in Tuscany or the French Riviera. It does not feel any less special. Great food and beautiful venues are part of normal life here, not a luxury add-on.

There are not enough words to describe quality, beauty and service we received while we planned our elopement in Valencia, Spain.
We traveled from US to reunite with a friend and decided to elope. Olga within days, booked the most stunning location, planned the entire event in 5 days.
We did not have to lift a finger and just showed up. I would compare this service to Ritz all day plus! . Pictures speak for themselves.

FAQ: Valencia Wedding Planning
How much does a wedding in Valencia cost?
Most weddings I plan land between €20,000 and €50,000 for 30 to 100 guests, depending on the venue, catering and season. That covers a beautiful finca, good food and wine, flowers, music and photography. My planning services start from €1,000. On a first call I'll give you a realistic budget estimate for your guest count, for free.
What is the best season to get married in Valencia?
May, June, September and October are the sweet spot: warm, sunny and not too hot. July and August work well for evening ceremonies. Spring and autumn dates at popular fincas get booked first, so those need the most lead time.
Can foreigners legally get married in Spain?
For a legal marriage registered in Valencia, at a registry office or notary, at least one partner generally needs to be a legal resident here. For a couple living in, say, the US, registering the marriage in Spain is difficult in practice. That's why most international couples handle the legal paperwork at home and hold their real celebration, a symbolic ceremony, here in Spain. Your guests see no difference. I'll explain how it works on our first call.
How far in advance should we book?
For full planning, 10 to 14 months before the date is comfortable, mostly because the best fincas book out early. Shorter is possible: I've put together lovely weddings in under six months, and elopements in a few weeks.
Do you work with couples who don't speak Spanish?
All the time, that's most of my couples. I run all vendor communication, contracts and negotiations in Spanish and report back to you in English or Ukrainian. You never have to translate anything yourself.
Do we need to be in Spain to plan the wedding?
No. Most of my couples see Valencia for the first time either on one short venue-hunting trip or a few days before the wedding itself. I visit the venues, film walkthroughs for you, taste the menus and meet the vendors. We do the rest over video calls.
What's included in your planning fee?
Venue search and visits, a vendor team matched to your budget, budget tracking, the timeline, all coordination with suppliers, and me personally running your wedding day. You get one point of contact for everything, from our first call to the end of the party.
Can you help with legal paperwork and translations?
Yes. I guide you through the documents for a symbolic or civil ceremony, connect you with sworn translators when needed, and read through vendor contracts in Spanish so you always know what you're signing.
How many guests can a Valencia wedding accommodate?
Anything from two people to around 200. Fincas around Valencia comfortably host 60 to 150 guests, and there are venues for both tiny elopements and big celebrations. Tell me your rough guest count and I'll shortlist venues that fit.
Do you plan weddings outside Valencia?
Yes. I regularly work across the Costa Blanca, including Alicante and Benidorm. If your dream venue is a bit further along the coast, ask me, chances are I already know it.
